摘 要:笔者以英语专业学生为实验对象,进行了基于SBI模式的阅读策略培训实验,运用定量研究方法,分析了策略培训对学生阅读能力的影响。结果表明,SBI策略培训对提高学生整体阅读理解水平有显著作用,同时极大地提高了学生猜测词义、推论作者观点、结构分析、综合推理以及寻读的能力。与课外策略兴趣小组活动相结合的SBI策略培训模式有效地促进了学生猜测词义和寻找或推论作者观点的能力;课外策略兴趣小组活动是SBI策略培训的一种切实有效的补充形式。The strategy-based training experiment was conducted in reading classes for 16 weeks to investigate the effectiveness of strategy instruction for English majors,by means of analyzing the test results.Major findings of this study reveal that strategy-based training is effective in enhancing students’ overall reading proficiency and such reading abilities as word attacking skills,searching for or inferring the author’s opinion,analyzing structures,reasoning integrally and scanning.The new model combining the traditional one with ex-curricular interest group work has significant effect on the improvement of students’ abilities to guess words meaning and search for or infer the author’s opinion.In addition,it is proved that the ex-curricular interest group work is an effective and practical way to enhance and supplement the traditional strategy-based training in reading classes.
