摘　　要：不同的语言结构反映不同的思维方式。汉英语言在文字结构及其发展、词语构成、使用与理解、句法和语篇结构上的不同折射出中西方在思维方式上的差异。了解汉英两种语言的差异及其所折射出的中西方思维方式的差异,可以帮助英语学习者更好地把握两种语言的特点,并增强处理语言的能力。Different language structures reflect different modes of thinking. The differences which are shown in structures and development histories of the two characters, lexical constitutions, applications and understandings of phrases, syntax and structures of passages, reflect the differences in Chinese and Western modes of thinking. Understanding of differences in Chinese and English and in Chinese and Western modes of thinking can help English learners grasp characteristics of the two languages and strengthen their abilities to handle languages.
