摘　　要：本文考察中华人民共和国成立至1977年这29年间法国文学翻译。本文从翻译选择、翻译需求和实际翻译、译者、作者和读者间之关系评述本期翻译活动,末了将法国文学翻译置于20世纪外国文学翻译史的大背景下论述其得失。This paper surveys the translating of French literary works in the People's Republic of China from1949 to 1977.It examines and analyzes the data in terms of source texts selection,demands for translated French literature,and the relationship among the translator,the author and the readers.In conclusion,the author sums up the main achievements and problems in this area of translational practice in the context of China's approach to foreign literatures in general in the twentieth century.
