英语专业文学课程体系的构建

摘　　要：无论从知识层面还是能力培养角度而言,英语文学课程对英语专业学生都起着重要作用。依据《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》,"文学入门"、"英美文学史及选读"和"文学批评原理"等课程构成了英语专业文学课程体系中的核心课程。而各高校依据自身特点、不同的人才培养目标、学生水平和师资状况还可以开设若干门选修课程或延伸课程,以扩大学生知识面,培养学生不同的兴趣和研究方向,作为核心课程的合理补充。两类课程共同构建了英语专业文学课程的体系。Literature courses play an important role in broadening English majors＇ horizon and improving their competence.According to the English Teaching Syllabus for English Majors in Higher Institutions, Literature Introduction, The History and Selected Readings of British ＆ American Literature and Theory of Literary Criticism form the core of the literature course system. With different education policies,different student＇s English proficiencies and different staff qualities, different higher institutions may offer various optional literature courses as extended courses to enlarge students＇ knowledge or establish their interests in literary studies.The core courses and the extended ones construct the literature course system for English majors.
