高职院校英语教学现状分析及改革探究

摘　　要：全面分析了高职院校英语教学的现状及主要问题,充分肯定了近年来高职英语教学改革所取得的成效,同时指出目前高职英语课程体系不利于学生英语应用能力的培养,提出高职英语教学必须以培养应用能力为核心,重新构建新的高职英语课程体系,把行业英语融入公共英语课程以满足新时期国家和社会对高职人才的要求。This paper analyzes the present situation and the main problems of English teaching in vocational colleges as well as expounds the reform and its effects and the problems concerned in recent years. It points out that present English curriculum system in vocational colleges goes against the students＇ practical ability on English. The paper also proposes students＇ application ability training should be taken as the core in English teaching, so to form a new English curriculum system for vocational colleges is necessary and professional English should be integrated into basic English course in order to meet the social requirements for talents at the new period of national reform.
