摘　　要：多媒体技术是用计算机将各种媒体组合起来的技术,集图、文、声、像于一体,能够在最短的时间内利用所有的相关资源,达到使学生了解英美文化,并用英语进行交际的目的。对于高校英语教师来讲,多媒体技术能够是课堂的听说教学手段更加多元,教学形式更加新颖,教学内容更加丰富。在大学英语听说教学过程中,合理充分地利用多媒体技术,能够提高学生主动学习英语的热情,进而提高教学质量。Multimedia is a kind of technology which involves various kinds of media, such as pictures, words, voices and videos. Through multimedia, we can collect all kinds of information about English-American culture in a very short time. As to college teachers, the listening courses can be made more vivid and colorful by using the technology of multimedia. During listening courses, students may become interested in English learning by means of multimedia, thus we can enhance the quality of teaching.
