摘  要:附带学习(incidental learning)与有意学习(intentional learning),隐性学习(implicit learning)与显性学习(explic-it learning)是研究第二语言学习过程的文献中常用的两组概念。本文作者发现在有关二语词汇习得的文献中,附带学习往往被看作是隐性学习,有意学习则被看作显性学习,因而"附带学习"和"隐性学习"、"有意学习"和"显性学习"常常会不被区分地加以运用。这两组概念使用上的混乱反映了我们对第二语言阅读中词汇习得过程认识的不足。本文的目的旨在通过回答"第二语言阅读过程中词汇附带学习是否就是隐性学习"这一问题,对这两组概念进行梳理、区分,以解析第二语言阅读中词汇附带习得过程的认知机制。Incidental learning vs intentional learning and implicit acquisition vs explicit acquisition are two sets of concepts,frequently appearing in literature concerning L2 learning process. It is found that many authors in their writings do not distinguish "incidental learning" from "implicit learning" and "intentional learning" from "explicit learning". The confusion has caused misunderstandings among researchers and readers and influenced people's understanding of L2 learning process. The purpose of the present paper is to clarify the confusing concepts through explaining the cognitive mechanism of vocabulary acquisition in L2 reading process.
