摘　　要：文章通过实例,分析了英汉两种语言中的省略现象,并将它们进行了对比,就省略的类型、还原、替代等有关语法省略的现象和概念做了说明,有助于深入了解两种语言的省略,从而正确地使用省略,提高语言交际的能力。This essay analyzes and compares ellipsis in the English and Chinese languages and explains phenomena and concepts of ellipsis such as types of ellipsis, reduction and substitution, etc. This helps to get a further understanding of ellipsis in the two languages so that we can use ellipsis correctly and improve our competence of lingustic communication.
