摘　　要：德国功能翻译理论为文学翻译批评提供了以"目的论"和"充分度"为标准的新的动态模式,使批评者从宏观和微观的视角去分析制约译者翻译目的的因素,进而客观公正地评价翻译结果。对《论语》林语堂英译本的批评就是个好例子。＂Skopos theory＂ and ＂adequacy＂ are a new dynamic perspective for literary translation criticism put forward by the functionalist translation theories in Germany.They help critics analyze the macro factors and micro factors which affect a translator’s purpose,thus achieving objective and fair evaluation.The criticism of The Aphorisms of Confucius translated by Lin Yutang is a case in point.
