摘 要:大学预科教育是国内外高等学校普遍设立的一个教学层次,专指中学与大学之间的一种特定的教育阶段。中国古代虽然已有预科教育的萌芽,但是直到清末才把预科教育列入学制。近代预科教育从独立设置到附设于大学直到走出历史舞台,也不过是20年的时间。探讨、反思清末民初大学预科教育的特点、意义,对当今预科教育的改革与发展具有借鉴意义。College-preparatory education,a particular education stage between middle schools and universities,is a teaching level in universities both at home and abroad.Preparatory education began to sprout in ancient China and was included in school system in the Late Qing Dynasty.It took just twenty years for contemporary preparatory education to go all the way from the independently-established to the attached-to-university stage,and ultimately withdrawing from the historical arena.This paper analyzes the Characteristics of college-preparatory education during this historical period,affirming its positive significance and meanwhile,making profound reflection on it.
