摘　　要：高职高专公共英语课程教学目标是培养学生的综合职业英语能力,其教学内容改革方向是用工作任务引领专业知识,体现职业性;教学过程的实践性是高职公共英语课程教学目标实现的有效途径。因此培养学生职业英语能力是高职英语教学改革的首要任务。Public English teaching in higher vocational colleges aims to cultivate students＇ comprehensive workplace English capacity. The English teaching reform is to enable students to master the professional knowledge through practical work task, which is the professional feature of vocational education. The practical teaching process is the effective way to realize this teaching aim. So cultivating students＇ workplace English capacity is the primary task of English teaching reform in higher vocational colleges.
