摘 要:中小学体育教学中的身心教育和培养,是一个长期以来未能得到很好解决的问题。什么是教育?著名的教育学家基尔帕特里克(w.H.Kilpatric)说:“教育是将个人的经验与人类过去的经验相结合,进行系统化以产生质的变化,进而丰富对所有有关事物方面的整体经验。”什么是体育教育?著名的体育理论学家布劳内尔(C.L.Brownell)指出:“通过大肌肉运动和中枢神经系统的活动而对教育作出贡献的,即是体育。”通过体育教育是否可以培养性格?这个问题长时间以来在哲学家和科学家之间进行着讨论和辩论。综述:1)通过体育运动并不能自然而然地培养品德;2)体育活动在它所特有的丰富社会交往环境的条件下,通过教育过程而产生影响和效果;3)体育教师的基本任务是通过教育过程而进行品德和性格的培养;4)必须大力加强这方面的理论和实践性研究。Body and mental development of physical education classes in schools is the question which has existed for a long period of time and has not yet been solved. What is education? Professor W. H. Kilpatric stated: 'Education is the process of systemizing personal experience in connection with past human experiences, under the consideration of its production of qualitative variations, to furnish enriched experience to all related matters. ' What is physical education? Professor C.L. Brownell stated: 'Through the gross muscular movement and activities of the center nervous system to give contribution to the general education is physical education.' Can character be developed through physical education? This has been discussed and debated for a long time in the public arena, among philosophers and scientists. The Summaary is that 1. Physical activities do not autornatically produce moral growth. 2. Physical activities and sport is a rich arena of moral action. 3.Physical activities depend on a complex set of factors tied to the social interaction that are present, through the process of education to emerge influence and effects. 4. Much work has yet to be done theoretically, empirically and educationally on this vital topic.
