有效提高英语翻译和写作水平的几点设想

摘　　要：英语句子主语突出、擅用无灵主语,这是英语的灵魂也是迅速掌握英语的诀窍。所以在翻译课程教学与实训分析中,从宏观上讲授两种语言的本质区别和特征,进行大量训练,可以有效克服中式思维,有益于摆脱母语干扰,提高汉译水平和教学效果。English sentences are characterized by subject-prominence and free use of inanimate subjects. This is the soul of English sentence, and also is the knack to master English quickly. Therefore, in translation teaching and training, a macroscopic view of the essential distinctions between English and Chinese and their linguistic features should be cleared up,and a great deal of examples and drills should be provided. This would facilitate English learning and mastery, help the students change their mode of thinking in Chinese, get rid of mother-tongue interference, and thus enhance translation level and teaching effect.
