摘　　要：2007年英国布朗政府执政后制定了远大的教育发展目标,希望将英国建设成为世界上最适合儿童成长的国家,保证基础教育的均衡发展。为实现这些目标,教育部门制定并积极推行"国家挑战"(National Challenge)项目,项目的主要目标是帮助教育基础薄弱的学校提高教育质量。在项目的执行过程中,政府在人力、财政和组织等方面全方位支持,最大限度地保障项目的顺利推行。In 2007,British government set up a new objective for the education development,aiming at raising academic achievement for all students,and effectively promoting the balanced development of basic education.To achieve the objective,the national education sector has designed and implemented the National Challenge project,the main purpose of which was to help schools achieve the minimum standards and improve the quality of basic education.In the process of implementation,the government fully supported the project in terms of human resources,financial and organizational aspects.
