摘　　要：词汇和语法是英语学习的基础，对学好英语起着重要的作用。而很多学生往往觉得这两部分是英语学习的难点，象似性理论能够减轻学生记忆单词的负担，使学生对语法有更深入的理解，并且能唤起学生对英语的学习兴趣和信心。Vocabulary and grammar are the bases of English teaching and they play a very important role in English learning. However, to most students, the two parts are the difficulties in learning English. The application of iconicity in English teaching can relieve students the burden of memorizing vocabulary, deepen their understanding of grammar and even evoke their interests and confidence in English learning.
