摘　　要：语言和文化是密不可分的,英汉动物习语的差异也反映了中西文化的差异。通过英汉动物习语文化内涵的对比分析,我们可以清楚地看到:任何一种语言中的动物习语都不仅仅是动物形象的符号代表,文化差异给动物习语打上了深深的文化印记,动物习语也因此具有丰富的文化内涵。Language and culture are interwoven with each other.The differences of English-Chinese animal idioms also reflected Chinese and Western cultural differences.Analyzing and comparing some English-Chinese animal idioms cultural connotation,we can see clearly that animal idioms in any kind of language are not only represent animal symbol.Cultural differences have given animal idioms deeply cultural print,so animal idioms have rich cultural connotation.
