摘　　要：谚语是各民族语言的精华和智慧的结晶,包含着丰富的传统和国俗语义文化。本文对英汉谚语的文化蕴含进行了科学、综合和系统的比较研究,希望对更好地理解英汉谚语的深刻文化内涵有所帮助,进而促进英汉语民族的跨文化交流。Proverbs, the essence of languages and crystallization of different nation＇ s wisdom, contain rich national and traditional cultures. This paper makes a scientific and clear analysis, and a comprehensive and systematic study of the comparison of English and Chinese proverbial cultural connotations. It hopes to contribute to a better understanding of the culture embedded in both English and Chinese proverbs and improve cross-cultural communication between English and Chinese speakers.
