摘　　要：成语翻译中除了把一种语言译成另一种语言外,它还需要作语用上的跨文化转换。在英语成语汉译过程中,由于文化差异,会出现几种语用意义的非对应现象。对此,需要译者在翻译过程中采取必要的补偿手段,来跨越文化差异。The translation of idioms involves not only the language application,but also pragmatic transformation of intercultural difference.In the process of translating English idioms into Chinese,the incongruity of several pragmatic meanings may appear due to the cultural difference.In this case,it is of vital importance that the translator employs necessary compensatory devices to make up for the losses in intercultural meanings interpretation.
