摘　　要：面对知识经济(法制经济)、经济全球化以及中国成为世贸组织成员的大背景,中国股市立足崇尚农耕的国情特色,发挥筹资功能之际,演绎了众多的特别功能,策应培育了由契约、规则、理财理念、人才发掘、营运现代企业制度、提升政府经济管理水平等诸多要件构筑的经济"软环境",并释放了宽泛的社会、文化意义。China＇s stock market is established under the background of konwledge economy（legal economy）,globalization of world economy,and China＇s entering into the WTO.Though born in an agricultural society,ever since the very beginning China＇s stock market has been giving full play to many of its functions besides fund-raising capacity,and helping to establish the economy development soft environment that consists of contract,rule,financing,talent recruitment（or management）,Modern Enterprise System（MES）,and uplifting the government＇s capacity to manage economy,which is of great social and cultural importance to the country.
