摘　　要：最近,美国智力与发展障碍协会(AAIDD)推出了2010年版的《智力障碍定义、分类与支持体系手册》。自1908年Tredgrod最初提出智力落后定义到目前第11版的定义为止,智力落后定义已经走过了百年的历史。本文梳理了智力落后定义的百年演变过程,重点对AAIDD第5版以后的智力落后定义进行了评析,并分析了智力落后定义演变的特点与新趋向。Recently, the 2010 version of the Intelleaual Disability： Definition, Classification, and Systems of Support was released by the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities （AAIDD）. The definition （the latest being the llth edition） of mental retardation, initially put forward by Tredgrod in 1908, has gone through one hundred years. This article reviews in retrospect the century-old evolution of the definition of mental retardation, and mainly makes an analysis of different versions of the said definition following its 5th version by the AAIDD, and comes up with the characteristics and new trends of the evolution of the definition.
