摘　　要：本文主要采用篇章分析中的衔接、信息性、情景性等标准,对美国第44任总统奥巴马的演说稿进行篇章结构的分析,旨在说明大学英语教学过程中篇章分析的重要性及该篇演说稿被选入大学英语教材的合理性和适用性。This paper attempts mainly to analyze the US President Obama＇s inaugural address within the norms of text analysis from the perspectives of cohesion, information and context so as to exemplify the importance of text analysis in college English teaching as well as the appropriateness and applicability of adopting this speech as a college English text.
