摘 要:英语中的副词使用频率高,在句子中的位置和词义多变。一些由形容词加-ly结尾的修饰性副词经常会给我们对句子的理解造成障碍,对这些副词的翻译也总是很难找到合适的方法。本文将针对这些副词的特点进行讨论,并就其在语境中的意义探究适合的翻译方法。English adverbs are widely used and flexible in meaning and position in the sentences. Some adverbs formed by adding suffix -ly, always having its modifying functions, are setting obstacles for us to understand and especially to translate into Chinese. It is not always easy to find the proper translating method, so that this paper is an attempt to conclude its features and through its meaning in context explore some suggestive methods.
