摘　　要：本文概述了外语学习自主在西方和国内的研究,对于自主的概念界定、影响因素、能力水平以及促进方法进行评述。指出今后的研究方向——跟踪研究和与其他学习者因素关联的研究。The paper reviewed researches on foreign language learning autonomy both in western countries and in China and commented on the definition of autonomy,its influencing factors,autonomous capability as well as methods of promoting autonomy.The paper also suggested directions of later researches—longitudinal researches and studies on the relationship of autonomy and other learner factors.
