摘　　要：语料库以其容量大、语料真实、检索快捷准确等独特的优势在现代语言学研究和语言教育中正发挥着越来越重要的作用。该文通过开展一项基于语境共现的教学活动调查高职学生在活动前后对assure和ensure用法掌握程度上的差异,进一步证明利用语料库进行英语教学的巨大优势。Corpus is leading a more and more important role in modem linguistics and language teaching with its antique features of huge body of language, naturally-occurring data, easily retrieved by computer. This thesis is aimed to investigate the differences of college students mastering the usage of ＂assure＂ and ＂ensure＂ between pre-activity and post-activity by designing a teaching activity of concordances, hoping to prove the great advantage of teaching English by using corpus.
