摘 要:容闳一生大力倡导"教育救国","以西方之学术灌输于中国",是晚清思想界、文化界主张从制度层、精神核心层变革的最早倡导者,深刻地影响了近百年中国现代化的进程。他建议太平天国"设立工业学校体制",向曾国藩提出创办江南制造总局兵工学校,这是伴随着大机器生产的中国最早的技术教育,对职业教育的产生有重要的意义。Rong Hong had advocated the thought of "saving nation by education"and "introducing western science into China"in his lifetime. He proposed to reform country in systematic level and spirit level earliest in thought and cultural world, which had produced profound influence on the modernization process of China. He suggested The Kingdom of Peace and Tranquility to design industrial school system, he suggested to Zeng Guofan to create the arms and industrial school for southern river manufacturing factory, and all these are the earliest technical education in China, and had significant meanings for the development of vocational education later.
