摘　　要：长期以来,少数民族学生在英国教育中一直处于不利地位,他们英语熟练程度有限,积极性不高,学业成就明显低于他们的白人同学,发展面临诸多挑战。为此,英国政府出台了"城市教育优异计划/少数民族学生学业成就"试点项目,以期提高城市教育中少数民族学生的学业成就,发挥其潜能,促进教育过程和教育结果的平等。Over the years,ethnic minority students have been at a disadvantage in the British education. Because their English is limited,and their low enthusiasm,their achievements have been significantly lower than their white peers. Therefore,the British government issued ＂Excellence in Cities/Ethnic Minority Achievement Grant pilot project＂ , aiming at making their achievement improved steadily,developing their potential, promoting the education process and outcome toward equality.
