摘　　要："趣"与 "寂"作为中日两国重要的审美范畴,分别代表了两国审美意识在一定历史阶段所达到的理论高度和艺术精神特质的一个方面。通过对 "趣"与 "寂"的比较可以发现二者在艺术价值上的相近及在审美内涵上存在的差异,这也反映了日本在接受中国影响的同时形成了自己独特的审美特质。＂Interesting＂,as a classical Chinese aesthetic category,and ＂ji＂,as a classical Japanese one,represent historically the academic and spiritual aesthetic consciousness in the two countries.These two categories can be distinguished by a comparison of their artistic values and aesthetic connotations.This also shows China＇s influence in Japan and Japan＇s own unique aesthetic characteristics.
