摘　　要：通过问卷测试和书面表达,对某理工科大学生中国文化英语表达能力进行调查,并对不同专业、性别的学生进行对比差异分析,结果表明:该理工科大学生大多存在无法用英语正确表达中国文化的问题。其中,英语专业学生中国文化英语表达能力胜过非英语专业学生,另外,较男生而言,女生更能用英语表达中国文化。同时,就如何提高学生中国文化英语表达能力提出了相应的建议和对策。Based on questionnaires and tests, a study on students＇ ability to express Chinese culture in English in science and engineering universities is conducted. Results show that students in science and engineering universities can not express Chinese culture or identify the right English translation of Chinese words competently. Moreover, English majors perform better than non - English majors on the whole and female students can better use English to express Chinese culture than male students. In the last part, some suggestions of countermeasures are offered on how to improve the proficiency in expressing Chinese cuhure in English.
