摘　　要：基于国内外地矿核心期刊的400余篇论文题名的统计调查和研究分析,列举出地矿科技论文题名英译出现的一些主要问题:题名字数和内容、标点符号、缩略语、冗余词和地名等。在分析和列举已发表在国内地矿类核心期刊上论文英文题名错误的基础上,提出了正确的翻译方法。Based on the survey and analysis of more than four hundred Chinese and English titles of papers published in the EI Mining and Geology journals home and abroad,some errors are encountered in title translations,such as the length and content of English titles,punctuation marks,the use of abbreviations,redundancies and the expressions of places,etc.By analyzing and illustrating the errors in papers of this kind,the author makes attempt to give the correct ways of writing English titles.
