摘　　要：论述了现代高校图书馆员工继续教育的必要性,阐述了继续教育的内容(包括职业道德、图书情报专业知识、相关学科知识、现代科学技术知识和语言工具等),提出了继续教育的方法。This paper discusses the necessity of carrying out the continuous education for the librarians of modern university, expounds the contents of the continuous education including the professional ethics, the knowledge of library and information specialty, the knowledge of relevant subjects, the knowledge of modern science and technology, and linguistic tools, etc., and puts forward some methods for continuous education.
