摘　　要：美国大学学习指导经历了从混沌时期、专职化时期和专业化时期,再到纵深发展时期的发展过程。它已成为美国大学促进学生终身学习和全面发展、提高人才培养质量的一种重要机制和途径。研究美国大学学习指导的发展历程与未来发展趋势,可为我国加强大学学习指导、促进学习和教学创新提供有益的启示。The academic advising in American universities has undergone four successive stages,which are the phases of chaotic,professional,specialized and intensified.Being an important mechanism and approach to promote students＇ life-long learning,overall development and improving the quality of personnel training in American universities,it also brings significant enlightenments to the reform of academic advising,the innovation of learning and teaching in China.
