摘　　要：数词,往往与精确联系在一起,但在很多情况下,它们的词义却是模糊的,而模糊数词的语用功能也是精确数词所不能替代的。模糊数词可分为四类:作为认知参照点的整数,数词的复数形式,并列连用或用or连接的数词,带有近似语的数词。它们独特的语用功能有:省力,提供恰到好处的信息,在精确信息空缺时提供大致的粗略信息和自我保护。Numerals are supposed to be which play special roles in communication. precise, but in many cases, they have vague meanings In this article, vague numerals are classified as follows： numerals standing for round numbers which are the structuring points of a number system; plural numerals; numerals in juxtaposition; numerals with approximators. They perform four special functions in communication： least effort; providing the right amount of information; proving rough information when precise information is not available; self-protection.
