医学寄生虫学的过渡-浸没式双语教学的几点体会

摘　　要：为适应21世纪经济全球化、文化多元化的发展状况,国家教育部对高校本科教学提出了应用英文等其他外语进行教学的要求。双语教学(尤其是中英文双语教学)已在各高校悄然兴起,探索一种适应我国素质教育背景下的基础医学的外语教学模式是一项迫在眉睫的工作。以医学寄生虫学的双语教学为基础,探索了一种适应我国高等医学院校学生的教学模式,即过渡-浸没式双语教学。该种教学模式以教学大纲为准绳,以让学生掌握课程知识点为依据,课前充分准备双语(或英文原版)教材和讲义,上课过程用中以英文授课为主(约60%-80%),中文授课为辅(约20%-40%),在上课进程中按学生的掌握情况随时合理地在中、英文两种语言环境之间切换。课堂上师生的交流互动也以英文为主。这种双语教学模式提高了学生的学习兴趣,也提高了双语教学的效果。Under the situation of economic globalization and culture polymerization in 21 century,English and the other kinds of foreign language teaching has been requried in the colloeges and universities by Ministry of Education of the People＇s Republic of China.Bilingual teaching（especially Chinese-English bilingual teaching） has been developed to be popular in the colleges,so it is urgently to set up a kind of bilingual teaching model which is applicable and suitable to basic medical higher education under the background of ability oriented education in China.Based on the bilingual teaching of Medical Parasitology,we probed to seek a kind of bilingual teaching model that fits to the students in medical universities,that is Transitional-Immersion Bilingual Teaching.This teaching is carried out under the criteria of syllabus,and with the basis of the students grasping all of the points of this course.Bilingual（or original English） textbook and handout were well prepared beforehand.During teaching,English is primarily used（about 60%-80%）,with Chinese being used only about 20%-40%,and teachers switched between English and Chinese reasonably according to the students reaction.The communication between teachers and students is also in English primarily.The leanring interest,and the bilingual teaching efficacy has been raised in this kind of bilingual teaching model.
