摘　　要：19世纪60年代开始的洋务运动中,李鸿章是中国近代技术教育的设计者和实行者,他为使士大夫放弃"章句小楷之积习",把科学技术"悬为终身宝贵的鹄的",奏请科举增开洋务进取科;反复重申"用人最是急务,储才尤为远图",创办了一批技术学校,拉开了中国教育近代化的序幕。In the westernization activity began in 1860s, Li Hongzhang was the designer and implementer of contemporary technical education in China. He advocated that, science and technology were the precious tools and suggested to the government to set up westernization enterprising subject in imperial examination; he reiterated that talents is the foundation for development and created some technical school, which boosted the educational modernization process of China.
