摘  要:文学作品中的对话正如傅雷所说,是"文字上的口语",既然是口语,就要译得像"话",不啻注意语法的正确性,更应符合交际话语的表达习惯、谈吐方式;不但如此,还应"闻"如其人,符合说话人的身份、地位、心理、心情和口吻;同时符合特定的场合、情景和语境,通过对话揭示或衬托人物的形象、个性和风貌。这需要译者平时多留意中西文字语汇上的差异,注意不断丰富自己的口语语料库。傅雷把对话翻译视为一大难题,值得我们研究和探讨。As Fu Lei said, conversations in literary works are "literal colloquialism". Being spoken language, they should be translated as "utterances". It requires translators not only to pay attention to the syntactic correctness but also to make them in agreement with the customs of expression and styles of conversation. Furthermore, it makes the readers to see the very speakers when they "hear" the translation which is required to be coincident to the identity, status, mentality, mood and manner of the speakers; meanwhile to be coincident to the special occasion, situation and context in order to demonstrate or serve as a foil to the images, personalities and features of the characters. To achieve this aim, translators have to pay more attention to the lexical differences between Chinese and French, and to constantly enrich their spoken language database. Translation, acknowledged as a tough task by Fu Lei, is worth researching and investigating.
