摘 要:当前我国大学英语课主要有两种教学方式,即传统的"三个一"(一本书,一支笔,一张嘴)教学方式和新兴的多媒体辅助教学方式。传统的教学方式经济、方便、灵活,利于师生互动,教学反馈直接,然而传统课堂教学信息量小,教学信息类型单一,从而影响教学效率。多媒体教学方式教学信息多维化、形象直观,语境创设好,宜激发学生的兴趣,便于学生理解和掌握,并且教学参考资料丰富,检索快捷方便,课件易于重复利用,备课上课时间节省,能给教师提供许多便利。多媒体教学方式也有其缺陷,其设备投资大,使用维护难度高,并且在一定程度上影响教学反馈,隔绝师生之间必需的情感交流。对比分析两种方式的优缺点,对于完善大学英语课堂教学方式,推动大学英语教学改革,有着现实指导意义。This paper is a systematic research on the two teaching approaches in college English classrooms,i.e.,traditional triplet approach of a book,a pen and a mouth,and the newly born computer-assisted multimedia approach.The traditional approach is economical,convenient and flexible,which promotes the interactivity between teachers and students with a direct teaching feedback.However,the comparatively small amount and monotonous type of teaching contents can be a hindrance to teaching productivity.In a computer-aided classroom,the multidimensional and visualized teaching helps set up the language context and arouse students' interests,which improves students' understanding of the language.An all-around and in-depth analysis of merits and demerits of the two approaches may serve as a practical guide to the college English teaching and hence help advance college English teaching reform.
