大学英语教学得失谈——基于一份调查问卷的解析和思考

摘　　要：随着社会经济的发展,外语人才的需求呈逐年上升趋势。为了适应我国高等教育发展的新形势,深化教学改革,提高教学质量,满足新时期国家和社会对人才培养的需要,大学英语教学改革的呼声骤起。为此,教育部制定了指导性的文件,而各个高校也纷纷出台自己的改革措施。为了更好地了解我校目前的英语教学现状及存在的问题,笔者开展了问卷调查,从中发现一些问题,并提出几点改善大学英语教学现状的建议,希望能为教学改革提供一点思路。College English teaching aims at cultivating qualified personnel for our country, which is an issue that deserves our great concem. With the development of social economy, there has been an increasing demand for talents with high language competence. However, the current system, to some extent, has hindered our course of training persons of ability. As a result, the reform of College English teaching has become a necessity for higher education. In response to it, Ministry of Education has issued series of guidelines and some local universities and colleges have already begun to take measures to cope with the existing problems. In order to probe into the current situation of College English teaching in our school, a questionnaire was conducted among the non-English major students. By doing so, the author hopes to put forward some suggestions to improve the quality of English teaching.
