摘　　要：通过分析大量公示语翻译文献资料,从社会功能、表达内容、行业领域、信息状态、肯定与否等方面对英语公示语进行了科学分类。在此基础上总结归纳各类英语公示语的语言表达特点、翻译写作对策及规律,以指导公示语翻译实践。By analyzing the literature material of EPS （English public signs） translation, the scientific classification for EPS is carried out from the following aspects：social function, expression content, industry and field, information status, affirmation and negation. On this basis, the language expression characteristics, the countermeasure and regularity of translation and writing are summarized to guide the translation practice of EPS.
