摘 要:公示语翻译不规范会直接影响其信息功能的发挥,甚至会对景区景点及其所在地区的形象造成一定影响。本文对山西省旅游景区景点公示语的英译及其规范化进行了初步的系统研究,结果发现旅游景区景点公示语英译存在着一些典型问题——单词拼写错误、单词选用错误、语法运用错误、印刷排版不符合英语规范以及译文不符合英语使用习惯等,并有针对性地提出了一些相关建议和对策。Non-standard translation of public signs could affect the practice of informative function as well as general deserved images of tourist attractions, even its area. This paper will concentrate on various typical problems of C-E translation of tourist attractions in Shanxi Province and make an initial and systematic exploration of standardization. As a result, some typical problems in C-E translation of public signs are found, namely, the word spelling mistake, the word choice mistake, the grammar misuse, the arrangement of printed matter different from the English standard and the translation deviation from the culture; As for these related problems, some relevant suggestions and strategies are proposed correspondingly.
