“以学习者为本”的大学英语课程设置:调整与效果评价

摘　　要：基于《大学英语课程教学要求》和现代教育理念，笔者在2008级非普通班进行了课程设置调整的教学实验，尝试将二学年的语言技能课程压缩至一学年，使学生能够在第二学年进行选修课程学习。实验数据表明，本次课程设置调整很好地激发并保持了实验组学生的学习兴趣、学习成就感和一定的自主学习能力，更好地体现了人文素养与语言技能并重的大学英语课程原则。The authors attempt to integrate the 2-year basic skill-oriented language course of College English with optional courses by condensing language and skill learning tasks into the first year and offering optional courses in the second. The data collected about this adjustment and the experiement with the ordinary-English-proficiency students of Grade 2008 indicate that this integration has well stimulated students＇ interest in learning the course, their sense of learning achievement and autonomy within the experiment group, suggesting that equal priority should be given to beth language skill training and humanity cultivation in College English course designing.
