摘 要:文章以交际策略的理论研究为指导,通过对21名中国学生使用交际策略情况的调查,探讨了交际策略的使用情况。调查结果表明,学习者在口头表达和书面叙述中不同程度地依赖这些策略以克服语言障碍。这进一步证明了学习者使用交际策略的能力应被视为他们整个交际能力的一个不可或缺的组成部分。在教学过程中教师不应忽略对学生的交际策略能力的培养。The present thesis surveyed 21 Chinese EFL students to explore the communication strategies employed in oral and written performances. The purpose is to provide a link, if any, between communication mode and the utilization of specific communication strategies; that is, to locate how a change in communication mode may affect the pattern of communication strategies used. It was found that EFL learners in China empIoyed communication strategies not only in their oral performances, but their written performances as well. The implications of the study are that in addition to linguistic competence and communicative competence, learners'strategic com- petence should also be, incorporated into their overall foreign language ability. Due attention should be paid to students'strategic competence in foreign language teaching.
