摘　　要：英语演讲比赛前,对选手的培训应着重从三个方面入手:第一,精心选择演讲材料;第二,训练选手的逻辑思维;第三,训练、强化选手的心理素质。The paper is trying to give suggestions on how to train the contestants of English speaking contests.In order to make the contestants confident and adaptable in the contest,it is suggested that the training should focus on the following aspects： the content of the speech,the logical thinking of the candidates and their psychological endurance when attending the contest.
