摘　　要：科技对语言演变的影响,主要表现为:促进了某些语言如英语的强势发展与传播,加快了某些地方语言的弱化甚至消亡。中国需要合理利用科技的积极作用提升汉语和中国传统文化的地位及世界影响力,使得汉语和中国文化长盛不衰。By analyzing the impact of science and technology on language evolution——its promotion of some languages to privileged global ones and its diminishing of some local languages to less powerful and even endangered languages,the author suggests that China should take full advantage of modern science and technology to promote the status as well as influence of Chinese and traditional Chinese culture so as to make it have permanent vigor and everlasting influence all over the world.
