摘　　要：新闻视频中的标注文本是对视频内容的高度概括。针对新闻视频帧中文本区域的定位问题,提出了一种有效的字幕定位方法。该方法通过灰度差分统计对视频帧中文字区域进行行定位,再利用变异灰度直方图(VGH)对文字区域进行列定位,最后对预处理结果进行过滤和合并得到文字区域定位的准确结果。实验表明该方法效果良好,不受文字大小影响以及图像背景复杂度限制,且易于实现。The marked text of news video is a highly condensed summary of video content.As to the problem to locate the text region of the news video frame,an effective method for caption location was proposed in the paper.The gray-scale difference statistics was used to locate the text region of the video frame by row information;then the local gray-scale histogram was applied to locate the text area by column information;finally,the accurate results of text area location were achieved after filtering and merging the preprocessing image.Experimental results show that the method is convenient and effective,and not affected by the text size and restricted by the image complexity.
