摘　　要：在他人研究的基础上归纳出目前我国高校英语写作中存在的主要问题,然后提出了解决问题的对策:读写交融,即如何通过阅读习得词汇,理解语法,培养语篇意识,训练英语思维方式,最终提高写作能力。掌握一定的语言知识、语篇知识及文化语用知识,是发展写作能力的基本条件。但是必须通过有意识的训练这些知识才能从输入转为输出,即把阅读中领会到的变为写作中表达出的。This study has first,based on others＇ previous research,generalized the major problems in English writing at tertiary level in our country,and then proposed a strategy to deal with them： combination of reading with writing,that is,how to acquire vocabulary,understand grammar,cultivate text awareness,train English thinking pattern through reading,towards the ultimate improvement of English writing.It is self-evident that a certain amount of knowledge of English language,text,and culture and pragmatics are essentials of writing ability development,but it is only with great deal of intentional training that can such knowledge be transferred into output from input,or from what is understood in reading into what is expressed in writing.
