摘 要:由于传统直方图均衡(HE)算法和灰度变换算法的局限,提出了一种基于直方图的双阈值映射(BTM)增强算法。该算法通过对原始图像的直方图进行双阈值映射和自适应增强处理,对图像灰度级进行重新分配,减少冗余灰度级,有效地拓宽了目标部分的动态范围,既提高了目标与背景间的对比度,又突出了目标的细节层次。所提出的算法可以有效增强红外图像中目标与背景之间的对比度,拓宽目标的动态范围。仿真结果表明:该算法是一种非常有效的红外图像增强算法。Due to the deficiency of the traditional histogram equalization algorithm and gray-scale transform algorithm for target enhancement in infrared image,an adaptive contrast enhancement algorithm based on bi-threshold mapping histogram for infrared image processing was presented.With the bi-threshold mapping and adaptive enhancement of the contrast,the gray-scale of the original infrared image was redistributed,so the contrast between the target and background was enhanced and the resolution of target details was improved greatly,at the same time,the redundant gray level was reduced and the dynamic range of target was enlarged considerably.The proposed algorithm was used to enhance the contrast of infrared image and enlarge the dynamic range of infrared image.The simulation results show that it is an effective enhancement algorithm for infrared image.
