摘 要:本文以中国某大学英语专业二年级三个班的学生(一个实验班,两个控制班)为对象,对档案袋评价在中国高校英语口语课堂的应用做可行性研究。研究结束时的英语口语能力对比分析结果显示实验班在音素、衔接、组织、自然度、话轮协商、副语言等维度上比控制班有明显优势。三个班学生的英语专业四级口试成绩对比分析也显示实验班在反映语言精确度的语音和语法上比控制班得分高。This paper addresses the feasibility of applying portfolio assessment in oral English courses for Chinese tertiary learners.The research subjects were three classes of second-year English majors,one serving as the experimental class and the others control classes.Results of the comparability study held at the end of the research showed that the mean scores of students of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of control classes in such aspects as pronunciation,cohesion,organization,naturalness,turn-taking,and paralanguage.Moreover,results of the comparability study on TEM4-Oral of the three classes also showed that the experimental class had acquired a significantly higher mean score than the control classes in the accuracy of pronunciation and grammar.
