摘　　要：我国高等职业教育的迅猛发展凸显高职教育的魅力,全国百所示范性建设院校的引领发展为高职教育探索了积极、有效的建设途径。在基本实现跨越式发展的同时,就如何面对激烈的社会竞争,彰显自身软实力,实现科学发展,以昆明冶专的示范建设为例进行探讨。The rapid development of China＇s higher vocational education highlights the charm of higher vocational education.The leading role of 100 model colleges in China offers a positive and effective way for higher vocational education.Strategies on how to face the fierce social competition to show college＇s own soft power and achieve scientific development while basically realizing the leapfrog development were discussed.Reflections on the construction of higher vocational education with the example of Kunming Metallurgy College as a national model college were made.
