摘 要:本文以"学衡派"众诗人兼翻译家为个案,以一首诗的复译为例,探讨"学衡派"众译家在重写英语诗歌的过程中,如何受到各自的诗学观与接受文化中的文学规范等因素的制约而采取了不同的翻译策略,进而形成迥异的译诗风格,同时还将在白话文学语境中来重新评估这种复译现象。Drawing from the perspective of poetics in modern western translation theories,this paper calls attention to the poet-translators belonging to the somehow ignored Critical Review School in the early years of the 20th century in China and explores their Chinese retranslations of the English poem 'She Dwelt among the Untrodden Ways' by William Wordsworth.The investigation traces the lines from the initial literary norms up to poetics in the procedures of the above poet-translators' rewriting of the same source text,discovering that these retranslations bear clear marks of the translators' unique understanding of poetry at that time,which is worth studying further and involves such topics as the evolution of certain poetic styles and the retranslation of a particular text in a particular context of the target culture.
