摘　　要：为更好开展青年教师继续教育工作,对北京大学医学部180名青年教师进行调查。结果显示青年教师继续教育需求强烈,继续教育动机以提高业务水平和个人素质及知识更新为主,经费和时间缺乏是制约继续教育主要因素。继续教育内容需求以本专业教学科研为主,继续教育方式需求除学术会议、学术讲座外,希望增加国内外考察、访问学者的机会。This paper provides an analysis for the future continuing education policies through investigating the present situation of continuing education among young teaching staff. The method used is a questionnaire survey among a sampling group and stratified sampling of 180 staff members below 45 years old. The findings show that the young teaching staff members＇ demand for continuing education is intense, with a motive to raise professional level, individual quality as well as knowledge renewal. However, there is insufficient funding and time allowance for their continuing education, which concludes a sustainable school development, variety of continuing education allowances that should be given to teaching and administrative staff with job orientation, in terms of academic conference participation, academic lectures, academic visits at home and abroad, and status of visiting scholars.
